Trade Glock 19 Gen 4 for Walther PPS

Post by Adamt »

My CHP is processing and I'm interested in starting to carry. I have a Glock 19 Gen 4 with 50 rounds on it. Even though it is "compact" when I look at carrying it, it seems huge. I wear slacks and a button down shirt tucked in every day. I can't imagine trying to conceal a Glock 19 in that. I'm considering trading it/selling it for a Walther PPS. Anyone want to try to talk me out of it or into it?

I sold my Glock G26 and replaced it with a Walther PPS in 9mm. The Glock was just a little too thick for IWB carry in my opinion. The Walther is really slim and easy to carry IWB but I ended up selling it too -- I just couldn't shoot well with it! I finally settled for a Heckler & Koch P2000SK LEM in 9mm as my primary carry.

Why do you think you found it difficult to shoot well?

I think it was the combination of the grip not fitting well in my hand (grip may have been too small?) and the PPS feeling a little top heavy/balance was a little off (polymer frame and metal slide).
