Precisely what Young and I are doing. Add bottled water, batteries, and candles to the list. For food I recommend you stick with canned. Don't forget coffee, sugar, TP, and bleach. Those will make excellent fodder to trade. Not to sound alarmist, but plan how you will survive without electricity, water, and other utilities.
