Whenever I need complex, detailed, perfectionist work, then I absolutely make sure it is Sandy or Robert Garrett at NOVA Gun Works, doing the project.
Just got three more new CMP . 22 LR guns and bought to be using for Scouts, so had to be safe. Sandy safety checked, cleaned, rust freed, bore sighted their issue iron sights, and recrowned two damaged crowns for accuracy, then fixed the safety on the one rifle that was slipping. All three tested this weekend at Fairfax Rod & Gun and getting great groups, so good now for the Scouts.
Also had a trigger job done on my own Ruger Mark II,at same time, and now it is shooting for me as well as my S&W 41 (ok, anyone with good eyes could do better with either one too). That makes about 30 guns Sandy or Robert handled for me last 10 years.
Been all over and used custom makers ofter, but NVGW is still outstanding. NRA inside staff recommends.

I'd like to hear more opinions as the reviews on Yelp have kept me away. While I know I can't believe everything I read on the internet, customer service is pretty key to me.
Any other folks ever been that can chime in as well?
