Boresighting a muzzleloader suggestions...

Looking for recommendations for a good boresight to sight in a new muzzleloader. I have read different reviews and wanted to get some opinions on which one to get. Seems like a pretty good way to get something sighted in quick. Thanks for your help I appreciate it!

Bushnell makes a little device the projects a laser out your bore. It's not prefect but it will get you close. I did hear on maybe being able to use a mirror and adjust the scope to bore in the mirror. http://www.opticsplanet.net/bushnell-ma ... 0001c.html

Thanks, the link that you posted is the one that I was looking at. I live in C'field also! Do you know of any local stores that sell this one?

My grandfather gave me a muzzleloader not to long ago. Its a Knight USAK he bought in 2002 I believe. He told me that he had a shop bore sight it a few years ago when he put the 209 conversion in. I took it to the range and it was shooting left 4-5" and high 2-3" at 50yrds from POA. I know he has not shot it much since then do to his age and mobility. He makes it for a few days during rifle season, just to get out. He was using 2 50 grain pyrodex pellets and knight jacketed ammo. I have since put on williams fire sights and switched over to 300 grain barnes MZ expanders. The gun is pretty accurate, the green mountain barrels on those are nice. With that being said Im not sure how well they bore sighted it, if the laser was cheap or if the old man messed with it after words (said he never did). I wasnt sure to blame the gun or his eyes for the lack of harvesting

I don't know any off the top of my head but it I had to take a bet on who would have
it would be greentop. A little bit of a drive though.

Just because it was boresighted doesn't mean you don't have to zero it for the intended range. It just means that it should be on paper, not off the side of the target...
