France FINALLY cracks down on religious fundamentalism!

Remember when Paris was set on fire once or twice recently by Muslim immigrants and the police did nothing? Well, France is finally taking the threat of religious fanaticism seriously;

After a brutal crackdown by Paris police during a religious demonstration, Mayor Bertrand Delanoe said Friday that Paris can’t tolerate “such expressions of fundamentalism and intolerance.”

Man, its good to finally see a European nation respond forcefully to the real threat of Muslim extremism and....wait, what?

(AP) The mayor of Paris says the city is filing legal complaints against fundamentalist Christians protesting a play at the municipal theater they claim is blasphemous.

Riot police have been called in to chase off demonstrators bearing crosses loudly protesting in front of, and sometimes inside, the Theatre de la Ville since the Oct. 20 opening of “Sur le Concept du Visage du fils de Dieu” (”On the Concept of the Son of God’s Face”).

Christian fundamentalists protest against the play featuring the face of Christ drizzled with fake excrement.

It's because Christians don't tend to firebomb people. Remember the cartoon uproar? There were also cartoons of Christ and the Pope done. I don't recall hearing about Catholics burning down mosques or stabbing people in the street.
