I can't see where Blue Ridge should be boycoted. They would have no control over the NitWit that wrote the article.

Re: Boycott Blue Ridge Arsenal
I read the article and I agree with Bill. I'll buy my guns and ammo wherever I can find what I'm looking for at a good price. The only reason I don't frequent BRA is the distance. I have been in their shop once or twice and plan to stop by again when I'm over that way.
Having said that, the jerk-offs that wrote the article are Americans (I think) and they do have freedom of speech. I swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution and that includes even those types. If the brown smelly stuff ever hits the fan, I'll be fighting for their rights too, bad as it will bring me pain. IMO we can't pick and choose our rights like a menu selection, who gets to exercise them, or how. The Constitution is itself a discreet document and IMO locked in stone. We must take it all and defend it for all - even for the a$$hole hippies - no matter how much it hurts.

Here's the comment I left for hippie tree hugger boy:
Moron. Our Founders granted us the 2nd Amendment right so we could always and forever protect ourselves from a tyrannical government - kinda like the one we got now. Guys like you should get a clue. When the sh-- hits the fan it will be guys like me protecting YOUR rights too. Why should we save your sorry a$$ - because your supposed to be an American too. Why don’t you start acting like one. If you don’t believe in the 2nd Amendment, go read the Bill of Rights (you know what that is, right?) and see if there are any others you’d like to give up.

14 dollars vs 40 dollars. I'll stay at the NRA range.
Who cares who voted for who. Blue Ridge Arsenal is a good thing regardless if the berkinstock crowd comes in for some fun.

Besides the fact that owner voted for Obama? That was enough for me.

I was actually enjoying that article up until the end. I bet 'Gun4God' is the author trying to get us to look at it.

Re: Boycott Blue Ridge Arsenal
I agree that it was a good article until they started busting on the use of firearms for self defense. Makes not a lot of sense to me - voting for Obama, calling self-defense advocates "liars"... not a good way to make friends and influence people upon whom your livelihood depends!Sweetpea wrote:I was actually enjoying that article up until the end. Seems to me that they're more out for the young "Fad" crowd.

Great looking store,,, The owners do have a right to vote as they see fit,,this is a quote from an email they sent about that very thing,
Now these 2 people are either very naive or really good at Bull s(*& ,

We are not of the belief that anyone coming into office in the current economic environment would be foolish enough to focus on gun ownership and gun control. We will fight anyone who tries to curtail the 2nd Amendment, why on earth do you think we purchased a gun store and gun range 6 years ago? To put it out of business?

Re: Boycott Blue Ridge Arsenal
Why on earth would you own a gun store and vote for the most anti-gun presidential candidate to ever walk the face of the earth? Apparently they DO want to be out of business! LOL
I'm just calling it like I see it here - the owner of BRA is black and he voted for Obama for no other reason than his skin color. *That* is why he voted the way he did - it's not about staying in business or voting for an anti-2A candidate - Racism, pure and simple is what got Obama elected to begin with and the owners of BRA helped.

There is no doubt in my mind that is exactly the case,,, Far too many people voted based on race and it is costing this country dearly,, Not the fact that he;s black but the fact that he is not even near qualified or capable of leading this or any other country,,

I disagree. IMO Obama is quite capable of leading a country - just not this one.VBshooter wrote:There is no doubt in my mind that is exactly the case,,, Far too many people voted based on race and it is costing this country dearly,, Not the fact that he;s black but the fact that he is not even near qualified or capable of leading this or any other country,,

Re: Boycott Blue Ridge Arsenal
I go to Blue Ridge - I've got a membership there, which gives me pretty much unlimited range time at no additional charge. I go 2-3 times a month - for at least an hour, usually more.
As for the owner supporting Obama - it doesn't surprise me. A lot of people vote for a candidate for reasons other than that candidate's political agenda. Geez, I don't even want to think about how many women I heard tell me that they were voting for Hillary in the primaries because she was a woman. I wanted to slap each and every one of those women, too.
The article that started this thread isn't so bad... until you get down to the end. The whole "I shouldn’t be able to carry around a handgun any more than I should be able to carry around a bottle of cyanide" bit at the end, I could have lived without. Although in the author's case, it's probably true.
