How Much Ammo?

How much handgun ammo do you have on hand right now? Target, SD, the whole lot..

I have 500 rounds of blazer and around 400 assorted SD ammo, mainly GDS 124 +P

I'm gonna shoot about 300 blazers and 100 assorted SD rounds this weekend at my GF's family farm. As of late I have been buying alot of ammo and not shooting it. This weekend I'm forcing myself to have fun.

Not as much as I would like but enough that I an not sweating anything. I would still like to have more...

Define handgun ammo. Thompson/Center makes a "handgun" that fires rifle ammo. And Taurus makes a handgun that fires shotgun shells. Several companies make rifles (carbines) that fire pistol ammunition. Therefore, the appropriate answer could be anywhere between "none" and "enough to arm a small country" depending on the definition you provide.

I'd say that regardless of the fact that the Taurus Judge can fire .410 shotgun shells, that no one would ever call a .410 shell "Handgun ammunition". :pistol:

Doesn't matter, I've only got 5 .410 shotgun shells anyway. Those 5 won't have much of an effect on my total quantity. :biggrin:

Seeing as how I'm now "rolling my own", I could have quite a bit on hand. But let's face it, any of us would be considered by the media to be in possession of an "arsenal."
