I changed my address..now what?
Do I need to do anything now that my address is different than when I got my CHP?
Re: I changed my address..now what?
Not unless they recently changed the law. They'll update it at the next renewal.

You can have the address changed on your CHP if you want to, for $10.
The new address change is not required though, its up to you.

Thanks I have actually left it behind alot lately thinking that if I got pulled it might lose it or have my firearm taken
Re: I changed my address..now what?
However, you do need to get the address changed if you want to use it was ID for a firearm purchase.

I've always changed mine, but what about using your VA permit in states like PA which require the address of the permit and DL to be the same? I presume that since we have to follow all of their laws while in PA, it applies to that as well.ProShooter wrote:You can have the address changed on your CHP if you want to, for $10.

Get it done, it's $10. I've done it, just send the paperwork in.
