I got a really nice AR15 catalog from Brownell's a few weeks ago. Not a flimsy paper catalog but a nice one with everything from parts to tools for working on Ar15's.

You're not going to see much in the way of ammo discounts until you get to at least the pallet level - and often higher (trailer load, boxcar load).
The FFL gets you cheaper guns and accessories, but not ammo.
