If you haven't seen this yet, it is quite interesting, these guys successfully converted two MN rifles to fire .45/70 cartridges. The rifles had to be rebarreled, if you've seen this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOjYro4w0Bc you know how hard it is to remove the barrel.

Well, if people can do a .45-70 Enfield, I guess a .45-70 Mosin is a logical step.
