Who shoots IDPA?

I've seen that, and it also lists Shooters Paradise, so I wasnt real confident in the accuracy of the list, which is why i thought I would get some first hand input here.


Also, I emailed Silver Eagle Group today, and this is the response I got from them. I may have to check them out soon.

Thank you for your interest in our facility. We do hold IDPA and IPSC matches monthly. IDPA is the first Wednesday of the month, and IPSC is the third Wednesday of each month. We have match times of 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm. The cost of the matches are $25, and you do not need to be a member to shoot the matches, we welcome all.

Hey Greg, Sorry I'm just getting to your posts here and the one on IWL. Are you shooting IDPA anywhere else but Silver Eagle?

I ask this because I know that Blue Ridge also shoots IDPA but I asked about getting in and was told that they didn't have room for more shooters. I think that kind of sucks seeing as how I am a member there.

I have gone to Silver Eagle and shot both the IDPA and the IPSC once. I'll be shooting again this Wednesday. Get back to me on this one, cause I'd love to shoot more IDPA if I can get in some where.

By the way, not sure where you are, but there is a range down in Stafford http://www.indoorrange.com/ that also shoots IDPA. Only problem is its hit or miss with that range. Some times the matches are canceled if there is not enough peeps signing up. I've only asked about shooting there once and it never happened. But I've used the range a few times. Its not a bad range.

I just signed up for the Sept 9 IDPA at Blue ridge, got into the 7 o'clock slot. I will try to also sign up at SEG for next month too, probably the 5 o:clock slot. Never been to SEG, probably been about 13 years since I've been to Blue Ridge. I'm looking forward to going.

I'm in Warrenton, so Stafford is really not convenient for me, but thanks for the info.

I'm pretty sure I'm on the 7:00 slot too at Blue Ridge on the 9th. I will tell you that I will miss you at Silver Eagle though. I'm on the 7 slot there too. But I do look forward to meeting a fellow forum board member and will be looking for you at Blue Ridge.
