I never got the letter, although a good bit of mail hasn't been getting to me lately, so probably the post offices fault. I just went in and asked if it was ready, and they had it for me.

Looks like you're in the sticks so I wouldnt worry about it. Be good practice for you. Only difference between now and then is now you see it and then you dont. You just have to make sure you know the law about where you can carry and how. Your gear and how you get it ready can still be the same.

Henrico isn't quite as populated as Alexandria but it isn't "the sticks." North/East sides of Richmond too, liberals abound as do psycho cops.

My mistake. I mapquested Henrico and found it way down on the border of NC. Glad to hear its closer. Nice to know another VGOF brother is within an easy drive.

They are nearly all in an easy drive distance from me. You can't get much more central (as in central VA) than where I live. I used to live near Richmond and worked at the airport so I know where Henrico is. Richmond Airport and *possibly* Green Top are in Henrico county.

Luck you. I'm about as far away as you can get without actually living in DC or MD - shudder the thought. At least I have a 15 minute bus ride to work. I dont know how you do it, Gary.

One of the other guys lives in Blacksburg and I mapquested that. There are 3 of them in VA and all on I-81. I asked him which Blacksburg and he said what do you mean - which one. Then he mapquested it too. Ok he said. I live in the Blacksburg thats south of the other two.

Thats one of the things confusing about when we say here where we live. Some people give county and others give city. Sure wish I lived in the sticks. Some of these folks sip iced tea and shoot squirrels from their back porch...

Must be several people out watching scary movies, we hear gunshots at all times of the day and night.

As long as you don't hear a chainsaw in the middle of the night, you might be ok :)

Yeah but if I woke up to the sound of a chainsaw in my bedroom a sheet change would be required afterwards... :hysterical:
