Congrats, and I'm sure the kids will love it. I have one with a BSA red dot on it, and it's wicked accurate. The groundhogs around here hate it. The 10/22 doesnt seem to like some bulk ammo, get some FTFeed/FTE. It is a great gun, and will obviously last you a long time.
