Yep, it's important to vote for the candidate that will protect our 2a rights the best. According to that VCDL survey, Cooch gets a "So-so" rating whereas Sarvis gets a "Very Pro-Gun" rating.

^^^ I have to admit, I really miss upstate New York. The awesome fishing, the fun winters, the great hunting. Just a wonderful place, and the people up there are pretty great too. Its just the opposite of that sh!t hole hanging off the bottom of the state.

I have a hard time thinking to go back there though, how do I go and throw dollars into a state I think is repressing its people? It's hard to reach that point though, the salmon and better yet the steelhead fishing is just over the top!

I went to college in Utica and was dumbfounded by the sheer amount of snow.

We'd get snow on Long Island, but my God...winter up there was something else.

And it turned out that was one of the mildest winters the utica area had on record! I was chipping ice out from inside of my windshield!

Upstate NY has a lot of problems too though. No jobs being the chief one with ingrained poverty and welfare dependence being the result.

Kreutz the winters in utica are just childs play lol.I live on the tug hill plateau one of the snowiest regions in the world,besides mountains.We avg 250 inches a year.The record is 466 inches i believe.And that is exactly why i live here lol.I like virginia but i can not ride my snowmobile on the grass lol.I ride right out my driveway,down the rd about a mile and into the woods on the trail system.I do not have an atv but right after the snow melts they take over.And you hit the nail on the head.When liberals take over poverty,depression,devastation follow in there wake.

As a child we had the misfortune of visiting relatives in Buffalo around Christmas time one year back in the 90's.

The snow was mind-blowing.

As for poverty in upstate NY (compared to the poverty in the metro area) the upstate is due to lack of jobs since a lot industry depended upon the canal and manufacturing which are long gone. The loss of mills and manufacturing killed New England.

In the metro area theres jobs but no one wants them since its better to go on welfare.
