Back to 1911s

This one showed up ahead of schedule by a week or 10 days. Seems to be right much gun for the money. Starting to fill out the 1911 collection. But Ed Brown delayed my Classic Custom YET AGAIN! Now they say it's going to be ANOTHER 4 weeks. Nighthawk Custom won't deliver a pistol ordered in June until February of 2012. Is it any wonder I'm buying Pumas and Iver Johnsons? I feel some sympathy for those drunks that drink canned heat because the liquor store is closed. An addict can only go so long without a fix!

I never left 1911's. I own some revolvers but the 1911 goes with me for carry purposes.

Neither did I. I was referring to the subject of my posting to "Show off your hardware". I had posted a 1911 once or twice, then posted one titled "A non-1911 toy, believe it or not", then I came back to 1911s to post the Iver Johnson. So I titled it "Back to 1911s". I know nobody cares about these minutiae but me, but never let it be said I'd leave 1911s.
