Brand questions

Post by ws91420 »

Went to the Fredericksburg Gun Show Sunday and I was a little disappointed because I was looking for specific things and either there was not a good selection or the price was no better than retail. I did look for some ammo because taking a .45 to the range isn't cheap and found some less expensive but I had never heard of the companies before so I was hesitant to buy. If you went you might know of the ones I am asking about. First is thr TUL which was being sold at booth to left on the wall as you first walk in. The second I don't remember the three letters but almost everyone was selling it for 18 a box.

What is the quality of this ammo?

I believe that is steel cased ammo similar to Wolf and the other steel cased Russian made ammo.

If the ammo was Tula, its a safe ammo that is fairly accurate. It is russian made and has a steel case but functions very well. I have shot this ammo and managed to hit the target 10 out of 10 times which bodes well for the quality.

Steel casing and probably the factory next to the wolf factory...but they are hard on extractor so dont use alot of it.
