If you have the nerve, go check out what Alcee Hastings of florida has proposed. Among other things, this proud democrat and Impeached Judge, has gone down a road that America will never recover from. Concentration camps for US citizens. It sounds like the script of a bad movie, but its actually what is in store for regular old fashioned american people who have the nerve to speak out against the revolution that is now being embarked on in this, the FORMER United States of America. The time is at hand folks. You will be labeled for your beliefs. You will be restricted. You will be controlled. The forces at work in the government have made their decision, and that is that citizens who do not tow the line are not going to be tolerated.

This is precisely why we need to engage the democratic process and let our elected reps know how we feel about issues like this. Gen up a letter opposing it so we can send it on to them.

And I;m sure Mr.Hastings isn't interested in any of that $180,000,000 dollars that would be avaialble , not to mention that FL would be a good site due to it';s location and it's hurricane exposure,,This crap makes me sick.. Spending $$$ is all these jackasses have done since they got the majority,,, With the elections coming up we need to put the pressure on candidates to stop this BS and start doing the job we elect them for,,, We as a nation have allowed our politicians to elevate themselves to a point of elected royalty,,,Notice how none of them will take the health care they propose for us, THey vote their own pay raise,vacation on our money, accept gifts from lobbyists and in their mind it all comes free with the job, JUst stopping the waste and pork barrel BS would pay for health care , fix social security,and a host of other things,, I wonder if a National Recall Movement could actually be organized? Some states have true recall laws ,,VA"s suck,, It would stand a few politicians on their ear knowing the people are going to actually use those laws..

They will never allow any restrictions on their power.All of them, on both sides of every aisle. There has been over ten thousand pages of NEW LAWS passed since this manchurian candidate has been empowered. I really believe that it has gone so far now that America will not recover from his reign. I had seen some of this in its infancy stages, pictures submitted of different bases that clearly showed some early construction of what could be a mini camp, but outside the base. Eerily similar to the camps used to house japanese immigrants in the fourties. I remember thinking 'this is strange,but it couldn't be what the poster said it was? not in America' well I have changed my mind.

The notion of FEMA camps and FEMA coffins is a popular conspiracy theory propagated by infowars and prison planet. IMO, there are more important things to worry about and do - like identifying the next 10000 pages of dumb laws that they want to pass in addition to the other 10000 pages of dumb laws already passed and writing our legislators urging them to vote NO.

It will only happen if we as a people lay down and let it,, More and more everyday they are waking up and becoming aware that a grave injustice has been made. They do indeed and I doubt that even the staffers read our mail, but this is the democratic process. If enough of us flood their phones, faxes, e-mail, offices, etc with enough voices all saying the same thing they will listen. Once they know we are all of the same mind and that they will lose their jobs they will listen.

To engage them in any other way outside the accepted democratic process places one in jeopardy of losing their abilities to engage said democratic process. We have to play this game by their rules or we lose. Plain and simple. It will work - maybe not at the speed that most of us would like - but it will work - IF WE ALL WORK TOGETHER.

When I was active in the Ironworkers Union I had entertained the idea a few times, As time went on I found I could effect change more directly by being a voice within the group rather than in front of it..Many guys would say the BA or President was an a&^hole no matter what they did or said but that same guy would come around and openly communicate to guys like me on the job away from the limelight,,, And change did come about very well with this system,,,One thing I was always told and knew myself was I was never afraid to call something like it actually was,, That was not what the "leaders " wanted or would respond to.. Calling a jackass a jackass or stronger term was frowned upon and I wasn't about to change the way I talk. I soon realized that I could write well and get better responses by staying in the shadows , getting the message to the people who wanted to hear the truth, and supporting the front man if he/she was worth a Shi&. Well I guess I am a conspiracy theorist but I can tell you that congress, and in fact anyone with any juice at all in D.C. hasn't read a letter since the anthrax campaigns.


The website below does something new to help people compose a "community" letter in the thought that a letter written by a group of individuals as a collaborative effort bears more weight than any petition does. I don't know if that theory is true.

GS78 - not knocking your ideas. Merely stating fact. Having said that, IMO there is nothing that these bozos might try and pull on us - even making a conspiracy theory come true. That's why we must keep after them.

A couple of things come to me concerning our tactics - speaking and standing together.

When the Babylonians labored to build the tower of Babel, God acknowledged that when the people all set their mind towards one thing there is nothing they cannot accomplish.

Roman soldiers knew that all of them marching together in the same cadence could cause a bridge to become so unstable that if they kept up marching together they could actually destroy the bridge.

We need to rock on together to see this through. It can be done and we will prevail in the end - if we all stand and speak together.
