Okay look guys If I loose I have to buy one and the wife gets a new Car, now that is almost fair. But if I win it, She don't get the car and that is fairer to me I think it is, Well it sounds better in my head.

Oh Tech tip for all you Mauser buyers and owners.
I have read in several places that to mount a scope you must"remove' the pin that holds the rear sight in place.
Fact: No Mauser was ever made with a steel pin to hold the rear sights in place. The sight has two casting pins, one per side about 3-4 mm long. They fit into a machined channel in the mount. With a spring steel pressure leaf holding it tight into the mount.
To remove it, press firmly down with a screw driver blade in the v, at the front of the slide sight towards the front sight and then tap it towards the bolt. It should pop right out. Be careful not to bend the spring steel platen.
