Oh puh-leeze, Über-awesome socialist Switzerland has one of the highest gun ownership rates on earth and you are legally required to be proficient with and keep your gun at home.

Gun-ownership fits nicely into left-wing beliefs especially regarding personal liberty and civil duty.

But, I digress, this is about Dan Casey, my soon to be AR-15 and my soon to be Supersoaker.

Maybe someone needs to take Dan to the range. I'm going to bow out of my own challenge, as I'm nowhere close to Roanoke (but I would come out, if that's what got Dan to the range). He seems like an objective/reasonable guy (kinda). I'm not suggesting that you could turn him into a 2nd amendment poster child, but he may be open to the fact that some folks shoot for sport... just for the fun and challenge of it.

On that ANTI-Rights blog he wrights (Just in case you’re heading off on a soldier-of-fortune foray to Africa or Central America or some other godforsaken place, this AR-15 also has an extended clip and front-locking flip sight that doubles as a bayonet lug.) And he go's on talking smack about the gun. In my opinion if the UN/current administration where unopposed and got their way. The beautiful USA which I love and serve would be eaten and crapped out as one of those "godforsaken places" and then when all those horrible yet typical atrocities that happen in those places start happening to him and he screams for help and wanders why no one is coming to his aid. I wonder if it would done on him that its because his community members which owned that AR-15 lost it do to a band designed to render them defenseless.

LOL, I looked at the comments and saw the MAJORITY or mostly all of them were comments from gun owners spoofing the post or posting which is the best round, add on, or whatever. His 100,000 posts are all gonna be gun owners posting. We need to use his site as a gun trade and broker/barter site. That would be hilarious.

But, I digress, this is about Dan Casey, my soon to be AR-15 and my soon to be Supersoaker.

The socialism is relatively new there (two generations or so) and the firearms are a carryover from tradition (like they would be here too). It's also because they consider that "militia" to be their military. However, they are ever restricting anything besides the military arms (even once you "retire," just getting your old military arm and keeping it at home is a exercise in paperwork).

I will give you that there are few producers of comedy from the conservative ranks, but that was not your position. You stated that most in the right of center have no sense of humor, if I recall correctly. That is positively untrue and there is zero correlation between creating it and appreciating it.

Now now, to be fair as far as unintentional comedy, right-wingers produce it in spades....dare I say in piles.

As far as appreciating it, I do think much modern comedy (essentially very sarcastic, NY-jewish ironic stuff) probably does go over the heads of your co-ideologues.

Now, now, do not underestimate rednecks from GETTING the "Modern Comedy", but when it's just INSULTING to them, when all they do is make fun of us, and berate us, why laugh?

You know, I'm a fairly big boi, with Jewish ethnicity, and having been educated in a predominately black college for the first part of my Academic Career (VUU), fairly astute at understanding humor...

Some of the modern comedy is just degrading, and not funny. I do not find Rosie O'Donnell, Kathy Griffin, or Michael Moore "Funny"... At all. Just insulting, and belittling. Which makes them pathetic, and yes... snarky.
