Re: Sarah Palin
I hope she goes Ind. Party and takes the White House. It would be great to have someone with "Common Sense" in Washington for a change! Let's get rid of these idiots who are in DC just to line thier pockets with gold from our check books. We need to get back to the values our fore fathers set forth. They warned us about letting elected officials writing their own pay checks. They wanted salaries to be low so people would do the job to serve our country and not to get rich.

Re: Sarah Palin
IMO she may have resigned in order to set herself up for a bid. I think right now there is too much controversy and opportunity for the libs to make a mockery of her - again. Gov Palin needs to get herself a good front person who can strategically promote and groom her if she's going to have a chance. She has an extremely dedicated following but I dont think its enough right now to defeat BO. If his numbers keep dropping, and they will if he continues along the current path then she will have a good chance. I'm not a mind reader, but I think she's trying to remove herself from public scrutiny for a while to regroup. She also needs to stay somewhat engaged so they can't point out later (if she does run) in an attack ad "Sarah Palin - gone fishin for the last two years - a quitter. Is this who you want in the White House?"
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

I don't think Sarah Palin will ever win the White House. If the choice were to come down to her or the current fiasco, I'd pick her but until closer to the next election I won't really side with anyone. They could all die off between now and 2012. I just posted her Facebook page for anyone that hadn't seen it or didn't know it existed (I hadn't and didn't). If nothing else she's the only woman in politics worth looking at, think of the alternatives Hillary, Nancy, Babara, et. al.

I don't think she can win the White House either, which is a shame because she would really stand the country on it's ear, The lazy people would not like her attitude towards freebies, But some of the voting "groups" would not support her,However I do feel she should stay very visible and help to elect a solid candidate that can beat Ol Bama and start fixing the mess he is gonna leave,

If she ever to win the White House I'd be much more willing to watch any appearances by the President.

Re: Sarah Palin
I can see her moving from the GOP to an Independent or even the Libertarian party. She could be just the person to rally the people for a common sense ticket in 2012. She would have a much better chance than Ross Perot ever did.
Re: Sarah Palin
Howdy, y'all
Sarah has too much potential to waste in a run for the oval office at this point in time. She and the nation would be better served if she gave up being a candidate and hit the lecture circuit. Conservatives need someone besides Rush to rally around, and her time is right. She could make more money working one or two events a week than she did as Governor, or would as president. It's not just the money, of course. She could wield a lot of clout as the mother of a revitalized conservative movement, and would be in a position to influence who the republicans nominate to challenge O'bama. As a conservative spokesperson she would appeal to libertarians and to mainstream America, because she has walked the walk when it comes to family-value and individual-liberty issues. Who would find her appealing if she abandoned her family to run for the white house now? She is young, and might be able to position herself for a national candidacy once she has had some time to cement a national following. She can do that while still being an uber-mom.

George
