I prefer the looks of the Kimber Solo myself. Actually I have fallen in love with it!!
Haha exactly!

While I can agree with that, I also don't see a reason to buy one of these when it's so ugly, and there are so many other good 9mm pocket pistols out there.
Guess that is what 'makes the world go round'.... I sort of like it.... but then, I have always liked Berettas.... got a couple of PX4's an older Cougar .40 and the 9mm PX4 shoots rather well.... again... IMHO. However, when not carrying a larger weapon.... my little pocket pistol is a Ruger LCP .380, quite small and maybe not as effective as a .45 but still a nice, small, concealable pistol...

Pretty much agree, I have 2 Berettas and a Cougar myself, though I went with a compact PX4 .40 for my carry rotation.

Actually, I also have a PX4 sub compact in .40.... it is rather bulky however... I do like it and it fits me well but is rather heavy... I am considering the Nano cause the LCP Ruger has a "strange" trigger that pinches my finger... but then... if the need should arise for its use... I probably wouldn't be aware that my finger was being pinched.... what I am looking for is a very small, very concealable medium caliber that I can basically just put in my pocket... and no... I am not interested in a derringer.... never found one that I felt was put together that well..... also, would like more than two shots.... if I have a choice ....
I actually have high hopes for the Nano.... we shall see....

Looks functional, that's what matters. Maybe it's just me but it looks like the bore axis is a tad high. The Kimber Solo, it's rather picky about ammo from what I hear.

I know this is a Nano thread but I might mention that I love Berettas and own a number........... but............ I went to my local shop yesterday.... compared 3 small carry guns.... SW Bodyguard .380, LC9 Ruger w/lazer (I presently own an LCP .380w/lazer) and the Beretta Nano 9mm.... and after much debating within myself... I purchased the Ruger LC9 with the lazer... it just fit me better and is a bit thinner and I want to carry inside the waistband and this one felt better... all guns were fine but I finally landed on the Ruger.... the only thing about the Nano was the mag did not have an extension so my little finger hung off the bottom and there are no extended mags available now... maybe later... anyway... so there ya go............

I wish they would stop calling these things pocket pistols. They dont go in your pocket, unless you have tactical cargo pants and then almost anything is a pocket pistol.
Have tried sticking a P290 and Beretta Nano in my front pocket, even on baggy jeans its a tight squeeze and I cant quickly draw either of them out. Dont feel comfortable putting one in my back pocket, too easy for someone else to access it.

That's where us old fat guys have an advantage. We've outgrown those tight-legged jeans and wear baggy pants; therefore we can pack just about anything we take a notion we want to carry. They're loose in the thighs, loose in the seat, and loose in the crotch; so there's planty of room for ALL of our weapons; no matter how cumbersome.
