THe obligatory FNG post
I've lived in VA for a few years, I'm from California. I don't care for the weather here and I miss good Mexican food but the gun laws and hunting laws are much better here. I'm active duty in the Navy. My primary job is welding/plumbing.

While I agree the weather here is a *tad* bit more muggy than California, I believe that if you look in the right places you'll find Mexican restaurants that are just as good as out west! Welcome to VGOF!

Allingeneral, just the other day a guy came down for an actual "punch" and I told him to go back to his shop holding his arm and tell his LPO (a friend of mine) that I hooked him up The Navy has gotten pretty serious about hazing so we don't get to hand out HT punches like we used to. I may have sent a few guys down to blow the EOOW and up to the bridge for the keys to the sea chest though.

I was one of those sent for the BT/HT Punch. It hurt too. I've been after a yard of flight line, looking for cracks in the windscreens, etc. USS Eisenhour 1991 or so.allingeneral wrote:Has anyone ever sent their new guy to your shop for a HT punch?
