im looking to shoot my .22lr rifle at a range and dont know of any in the area. Also if any of you have been there could you list the prices and your experiances with the range.

Given that you want to shoot a rifle, I recommend the NRA range in Fairfax as it's 50 yards. Rates, hours and other info are here:

+1 for the NRA HQ range. I shoot there all the time. It's clean, well-run, computerized, 50 yards long, and has convenient hours.

check out the range reviews on this site. Several indoor ranges located in NoVA and one outdoor one not too far away. Good luck!

Not sure where in NOVA you're located, but you could also check out Clark Bros range. The range is open 9-5 daily, shop open 9-5:30. You just have to shoot their ammo and targets, no range fee.
