Post by logistixz »

Friend of mine has a remington 1100 and it needs to be reblued, question is, is it worth it to have this done? is it very expensive? also can anybody point me in the direction of someone that can perform this in the northern va region?

With a little time and effort he could cold blue it himself. I've done a couple and it's not that hard to do.

I assume you have done the cold bluing? Hot bluing is what factories use and is much better for refinishing a gun. Use cold blue to touch it up.
