Anyone recommend a great holster for a Taurus pt709 slim?
Anyone recommend a great holster for a Taurus pt709 slim?
Anyone have this pistol and can recommend a comfortable holster ideal for it? I carry IWB. The current holster I have was made for a larger semi-auto and when i put the 709 in it it always depresses the magazine release button, so, its no good.

Bianchi Pro 100 most likely has one that will fit...the only thing I use for all my guns...IWB...I use a right hand model for strong side carry and a left hand model for SOB IWB. Nice holster, well made, comfortable, and functional...
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

Kruetz, I had a holster custom made for my pt709 slim. It's an iwb leather all blacked out. A man by the name of Chris at CCS custom holsters made it for me. I also had him make a matching dbl mag holder for it. If you look at the picture you will see the holster. If you want his info, let me know. I highly recommend his work. He can do any color combo you'd want and style. His holsters are formed and do not require any latching device. It is a very comfortable holster and does not shadow.

I use the universal/semi-auto "clip-draw" with mine and it works great, been using it for years without any issues.

This is what I use. I like it because I can tuck my shirt in. Not bad for about $10.

I've been using a Crossbreed Mini-Tuck for some time. It's been comfortable, but not perfect.
Advantages: Quick draw (once accessed, such as moving your shirt). Reassuring "click" as the gun snaps into the kydex. Great conceal-ability, especially with their J-Hook package. It holds up very well. It is very comfortable, even without an undershirt tucked under. You can adjust the cant to your liking (I use the FBI-style cant for improved conceal-ability, YMMV).
Disadvantages: I just can't get the thing to stop squeaking.

Crossbreed. There will never be another brand of IWB holster in my house. Extremely satisfied.

I have one for my Glocks and it doesn't squeak. But, I have seen where others have reported the squeak. It appears to be easily fixed with the application of saddle soap.
