so i received my nra knife.....

Post by usafforwardcommand »

I rejoined the nra awhile back. One of their promotions was a nra knife. Well, I finally got it after a few months and guess what? The knife from this very American organization is made in china. What? This does not bode well to me for the nra's choice of suppliers. Maybe I need a nap or should take some midol but that actually surprised and "shock and awed me". Am I alone?

I think the USA has outsourced all knife-making operations to China and Pakistan.

Maybe the knife was "Assembled in the USA" but the blade is stamped by China.

It's a sorry state of affairs...we have outsourced our souls.

In view of the fact that the NRA endorsed liberal Dems in elections across the country (which is why I won't join and I told them that.....like they care) the Chinese-made NRA knife makes perfect sense to me. This ain't your father's NRA.

The knife is cheap is anyways. I just told the NRA not to send it to me. The idea is the make the member feel like he is getting something back for his money other than the magazine(I really like the magazine). Of course the majority of that money goes towards the NRA defense fund and advertising and such. They just go with the cheapest supplier so they can give the member that feeling and not spend a lot doing it.

My hat was made in China too that I got this year. I called and complained. Never phased the lady I talked to.
