Hello Everyone,
I am moving back to Northern Virginia soon and have signed up to attend the March new member meeting at the Arlington Fairfax IWLA. I am really looking forward to joining. I had a few quick questions for any members of the chapter that I didn't see covered on the chapter's website. First, on the rifle pistol range, if you are shooting pistol, can you place targets closer than 25 yards or is 25 yards the closest that you can place targets. Second, on an average Saturday or Sunday, what it the waiting time like for a lane? Finally, what is the cost for members to shoot a round of trap or skeet.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Arlington Fairfax IWLA Range Question
Welcome back to Northern Virginia and also to VGOF! Regrettably, I can't offer any info on the IWLA. I do suggest however that you go to the new members area and introduce yourself. People here are quite friendly and helpful but you may find them more forthcoming if they know a little about you!

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you!
Re: Arlington Fairfax IWLA Range Question
Old post, but figured I would answer it cause it will help others.
I have been a member of AFIWLA for 2 years now, and while i think its a great club, its major major drawback is the closest you can shoot pistols is 25yards, no closer. Personally, i cant shoot 25yards worth a poop, just not worth the money to me to shoot that far, which lead me to also become a member at Blue Ridge so I can shoot 8-12yards (my wife would never go with me to shoot at IWLA). I have suggested many times to try to get a 10yard distance or something, but because of the way the baffles work, it just isnt possible it seems.
