New guy form Stafford, looking to learn a little something about firearms and hunting. I have a little bit of experience and knowledge, but not as much as I want and thats why i'm here. Look forward to learning from all of you and maybe I can teach you a little something.

Quantico Shooting Club but i'm thinking about trying to join the Izzak Walton League down at the end of RT.610 since quantico is rather restricting on when i can shoot.

What about you?

WELCOME!! Lots of good knowledge here! Don't forget that the NRA HQ shooting range is pretty close in Fairfax. I haven't been there yet, but thinking of trying it out.

I found the same situation with Quantico. Their rifle schedule is a little better. I shoot at The Range of Stafford. It is right off Route One. I've never heard of the Izzak Walton League.

I've shot at The Range twice its not too bad. Matter of fact I was there today, wasn't too bad when it first opened. Yesterday it was PACKED!

Oh, and if you are new to VA (Or have never heard of them) you should consider joining the Virginia Citizens Defense League (http://www.vcdl.org). They are the ones that protect our gun rights in Virginia. Just ask some of these other guys here.

I go to The Range about twice a month. Sometimes it is crowded and other times I get right in. Wish I could find a place outdoors to take my time and just shoot up a bunch of cans and bottles.
