[Poll] Reputation points?
We've all seen forums that have reputation points, i.e. people can positive or negative rep other members for their post content and whatever other reasons they desire, I guess. What do you guys think of this feature? Should I add it?

allingeneral,
I am not a big fan, never seen a real benefit except maybe when it comes to classifieds.
Just my two cents.

I'd have to vote No too... then I'd have to be nice all the time, and that's just too much pressure

Re: [Poll] Reputation points?
hmm..interesting. I expected more of a positive response to this one. Anyone else care to weigh in?
Re: [Poll] Reputation points?
I can't see any reason for it. So I'll say no.
Re: [Poll] Reputation points?
I didn't see an option for "Meh" so I didn't vote. I am ambivalent on this one.

I'll have to make sure to add a "Meh" option to the next poll just in case.herohog wrote:I didn't see an option for "Meh" so I didn't vote. I am ambivalent on this one.
It looks like this function will not be added to the forum.

Doesn't sound constructive!

JMO, but I don't think that it is necessary.

I've been on far too many sites where the system has been abused and surreptitiously eliminated. It only works for "trade" sites (SlickDeals.net comes to mind) but otherwise it just turns into a doofy popularity contest.
