Liberty Firearms, Hopewell

If you got a good deal or great service from a shop or range and you want to brag about them, here's the place to do it. Likewise, if you are unhappy about someone's service or feel like you've been ripped off, we want to know that too!

Liberty Firearms, Hopewell

Post by Bjay65 »

Nice little hole in the wall gun shop. Ben is a good guy, willing to answer questions and tolerate unlimited amounts of indecisiveness. Prices seem to be in line with any others I've found, maybe a little better on used firearms. Bought my last gun there, and will be back.

I really dig that place. It's my first stop usually.

Never initiate force against another. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.KYFHO

I've been in there a couple of times, but not lately. I'll have to check in next week.

Thanks for the tip. As a VA/Chicago transplant I'm still felling my way around. I'd never heard of this place. How is the selection? Is it worth the drive from the west end and the usual suspects?

Thanks

Anything specific you're looking for? The selection isn't huge, but they have the basics.

They are small, so selection isn't large, but they seem to be able to find most anything you are looking for. They have been steadily growing, and I believe their growth is based on customer service and value. If you are looking for something specific, call ahead. If you have some time and want to make the drive just to browse, the opportunity to meet these guys is worth the trip.
