Any chance we could do a little trap shooting? Looks like I'm getting a new 870 for my birthday.

I busted almost a whole case. Problem I had was they busted after they hit the ground. Guess that's what happens when you don't shoot a shotgun for 15 or more years.

I would like to know if there is any need for some 5' x 3' cardboard for placement of targets or what ever as I have about 10 of them I can bring. if there is then please let me know or I will put them out to the trash today. I was going to bring 3 anyway but thought that someone else might want a couple for pistol/rifle target backdrops.

I do have a hand thrower that I think I could put my hands on. Maybe someone can lend some instruction. Last time I used one of those I think I thru more clays at the ground than in the air!

I hereby declare a hand thrower contest. Whomever brings the best clay thrower by my arbitrary judgment wins a beer. There are only two rules, it must be hand powered and Bill must be willing to let it on his property.

I generally make my other half throw the birds for me, so I'll officially enter her in the contest.

My determination of best is not limited to function only. The furthest or fastest are not guaranteed to win...like contours events, presentation and form are a key attributes of this contest.

Alright here is what I think I'll go for. Notice how he rubs the clay first.
