New KelTec PF-9

Post by meak99 »

Been looking at these for a while now. 50 flawless rounds in the rain this afternoon - 43 115gr FMJ, 7 115gr JHP, all USAAmmo.com re-manufactured. Just as the reviews stated, it is SNAPPY! Certainly not a fun gun to plink with all afternoon, but it sure does carry nice IWB on the belt clip. Here are some photos, some comparing it to my S&W Sigma 9mm. I don't plan on any major mods for now, but I may clean up the mold seam on the grip, and then polish the feed ramp. Out of the 4 mags I have for it, one of them will not lock the slide back on empty - that's the only issue so far and from what i've heard over on KTOG, KT will take care of that if I just give them a call.

Not bad, I see you opted for the belt clip on the side. It should be pretty light, and easy to manuever. My sidearm is the Taurus pt709 slim. They look similar in size, and I dig the combat white sites. Congrats!

Still experimenting with the clip. Makes it easy to IWB, but much harder to pocket carry.
