Don't bring a beanbag to a gun fight

Post by OakRidgeStars »

Another disgusting example of our government's complete impotence on the southern border.

the group of illegal border entrants refused commands to drop their weapons after agents confronted them at about 11:15 p.m. Two agents fired beanbags at the migrants, who responded with gunfire.
Lemme get this straight...the border patrol agents KNEW the illegals were armed, yet these geniuses still shot BEANBAGS at them? :bangin: I hate to state the obvious, but, stupid hurts! Sadly, in this instance, stupid got an agent killed!

Once again a government "policy" that is not only flat out stupid, but also a deadly compromise to the agents required to obey them.. The idiot who required the bean bag shooting first needs to be indicted for wrongful death and occupational stupidity or what ever they do with dumb asses of that caliber...

This is why I don't like the idea of a less lethal in a SD gun or progressive loads. I want my first shot to be lethal and if I don't then shooting that person isn't critical to my life anyways!

Not only was the agent killed by a gun that the ATF allowed on purpose to be smuggled into Mexico, but the gun used to kill the agent a few weeks ago in the SUV also came from another ATF batch that they wanted to trace. What gets me is that this "straw purchaser" deal the ATF is using to purposely allow thousands of guns to go into Mexico is being used as an excuse to increase gun control laws. It is about as crooked a scheme as you can get.

It's the ATF, you need not say more.

This is about as stupid as it gets...if I were one of these agents and ordered to use a bean bag...I most certainly would...on the butt hole ordering me to use it...

Related issue...the agent who was recently shot and killed. So, they traced the weapon back to a US gun store. How did they get the weapon? It was found at the scene of the crime...

So, let me get this straight...someone kills a US agent and leaves the weapon used at the scene of the crime...sounds fishy...

1. A moron was involved and dropped the weapon before bolting from the scene.
2. The weapon was intentionally left to be discovered by Mexican thugs. Why? They want us to be disarmed too. Make it easier when they start coming across the border.
3. The weapon was left by someone else...Mexican authorities...US authorities...they dont want us armed either...

If I'm not mistaken that gun found recently was one that the ATF got into Mexico using Operation Gunwalker, They didn;t just walk any old guns either...I heard that they were full auto models and some ATF genius thought tracing them to the end user would be a "good" idea.... A great example of why the guv'ment should do a real serious evaluation of the pinheads it has working for them,, But that would require the creation of 3 new departments , the hiring of 3000 new employees, mostly affirmative action types, and the appropiation of millions of tax dollars to effectively do nothing. So once again we have a Catch 22 while they try to take our guns away based on lies while supplying the very people we are trying to stop,

....Bingo. That is the real purpose of this operation. Flood Mexico with easily traceable American bought weapons, sadly (for the Administration) someone blew the lid off it, otherwise it would have been allowed to continue until an International outcry was filed against the USA for its failure to enforce the United Nations small arms treaty that was signed and agreed to a while back. This whole operation smells like a setup for a severe crackdown on American gun ownership. Why Mexico and not Canada? That's obvious right?....

And as expected here is ATF's response to the incdents. The usual let's create a panel to "study"the problem while wasting millions to get nothing done,

ATF to Review Firearms Trafficking Strategy

http://networkedblogs.com/f2SfC

It will support the goals of ATF to stem the illegal flow of firearms to Mexico and combat firearms trafficking in the United States.”

Uh-huh sure it will,just hold onto your jewels and your guns while they do it for the good of God knows what with these idiots.;

Precisely the point I was trying to make about the gun found at the scene of the agent's murder...why did the shooter just happen to drop it there...and who was the shooter...and did he/she have knowledge regarding the agent's whereabouts...inquiring minds want to know...

They have no idea what they are doing. They had no idea what they did. And common sense will continue to show that this panel will do nothing but prolong the problem, because you cannot do anything until the panel finalizes its recommendations! I wonder what Andrew Traver would do??? I know, remove all guns from everyone in the US so something like this cannot happen!

Ok I have to post this interview that CBS has done. For all those that hear this and still think that the Justice Department and the ATF are there to protect us; well see how you feel after watching this!
Justice Department Rocked By Mexican Gun Scandal

By Sharyl Attkisson, CBS News

Federal agent John Dodson says what he was asked to do was beyond belief.

He was intentionally letting guns go to Mexico?

"Yes ma'am," Dodson told CBS News. "The agency was."
