My new workspace

Post by OakRidgeStars »

After scoring a like-new work bench from one of our offices, I decided to setup a small workspace at home for gun related projects and stuff. I had to cut down the 1-3/4" thick butcher block top from 72" to 65" to fit in the space, which meant that I couldn't use the metal top shelf. I'm pretty happy with it so far.

Now I need to learn me some gunsmithin' skills. I already have my diploma :hysterical:

Nice setup!

rule 1 of gunsmithing: If at first you don't succeed, use a bigger hammer! No wait a minute that is farm equipment repair, the two are so closely related...

It's very true, it was demonstrated in front of me this evening. Of course, a torch was also involved...

Look's good Jay,
The first rule in gunsmithing that I learned at the Smith & Wesson school was that you must keep one foot on the floor at all time's if you have to beat on something with a piece of babet lead. It is used for many diffrent types of adjustment's on many types of weapons.

I disagree I think the first rule of gunsmithing is to let someone else shoot it first! :hysterical:

One a serious note looks like a nice work bench. Did someone say AR build?
