First purchase question

Post by Poirot »

I have a non-drivers lic ID issued from the VA DMV, and have read the Virginia Firearms Transaction Program as it pertains to the primary identification. It does not say explicitly that a non-drivers lic ID is NOT acceptable, but it does not say otherwise either. So I guess my question is, are there any restrictions on the type of firearm I can purchase, with a non- drivers lic ID? Sorry if the question is convoluted.

Thanks

Your ID is a stae issued one, just as good as a drivers license ( unless you want to drive). You aren't limited to what you can buy with it.
