VCDL Meeting Richmond - Doc Thompson, Guest Speaker

VCDL membership meeting in Richmond on Wednesday - Doc Thompson of
WRVA to speak!

VCDL will have a membership meeting at the Richmond main library
facility on Wednesday, June 24, at 7 PM. Thanks to Roy B. Scherer for
having the meeting room appropriated.

We will have a special guest speaker: talk show personality Doc
Thompson of WRVA! Doc spoke at Lobby Day and is a strong supporter
for our right to keep and bear arms.

After Doc speaks, I will cover the various things that are cooking in
Virginia and on Capitol Hill.

LET'S PACK THE ROOM!

The library is at 101 E. Franklin street (between 1st and 2nd
streets). The meeting will be in the Auditorium annex.

There is a parking deck on 2nd street, but there is plenty of parking
on the surrounding streets at that hour.

After the meeting, we will go to a local restaurant for continued
fellowship. If you plan on carrying at the restaurant, be prepared to
open carry as most restaurants in the area serve alcohol.

Yes. It is a Public Building. Although I most likely will be carrying concealed until the fellowship.
I can see it now, walking on Broad Street in the dark with a six shooter on my side. This ain't Dodge City, boys!
