Since Ohio allows OPEN CARRY of firearms, I carry it every day. So far, knock on wood, I haven't had any hassles from Toledo Police. I do however get a LOT of questions from people wherever I go. It seems as though the general public is uninformed about open carry in Ohio. Toledo has laid off 75 police officers because of a budget short fall of over 20 million dollars, and may lay off more because the city is falling farther behind at a rate of =$100,000.00 a day. Crime is on the rise because our TV stations reach into Detriot and criminals are invading the city from all over. Muggings, crimes against people, home invasions, robberies, car jackings, and burglaries are all going up. The one thing that is a "fly in the ointment" is the fact that Ohio dos NOT allow open carry of a firearm while inside a motor vehicle.
It's difficult to get people interested in changing that law; most still fear guns being carried in vehicles. 
To the forum man. VA has the same ole' thing goin on with the OC in vehicles. It realy makes no sense...
