I'm not surprised.. Would be great if AZ could find a way to prosecute the SOB., With another administration in Washington it might even be possible to reverse sting this jackass,But Holder just isn't the one to do it,, Suffers from cowarditis and political flu. He and Bloomberg are without a doubt on the top of ten buttholes in America list..

I fail to see what anything that happens in the great state of AZ has to do with the cesspool of corruption that is NYC. AZ is protected by several rivers and time zones. And the article is correct, Bloomberg should maybe worry about his own city and its myriad of issues before trying to start problems with another sovereign state.

I may be slightly biased though being an AZ native :packin:

This dog and pony show of which we speak is merely a cheap-assed deflection from all his other shortcomings...remember emergency services inability to navigate the city in recent snows? It is the Arizona gun show loophole that caused it.

He's called King Mike for a reason. He bought an illegal third term, why not break other laws? They don't apply to billionaires anyway.

In two instances, the New York undercover officers...
How do they legally possess an AZ DL? I'm guessing that it is fake which means they presented false ID in the commission of a felony...after all the did just buy a handgun across state lines.

Just doing this Bloomberg is breaking more laws than the people they purchase it from.

"PS last I checked His Liege was a Republican."

Just because you have an "R" behind your name, does not mean you ARE NOT LIBERAL, nor keep LIBERALS in your company! IE: "AH'NULD"!

You are the company that you keep.

Indeed. Only we would catch that. No mention of it in the press...@garrett - you find one mention of that by a regularly recognized media (nbc, fox, abc, etc) other than comments and I'll give you 100 rounds of your choice of caliber...

Republican or Democrat, it doesn't matter, corrupt is corrupt, and Bloomberg is about as corrupt as they come. BTW, "liberal" and "Bloomberg" really don't belong in the same sentence. He's about as against liberty as the Tammany Hall crowd ever was.

Oh, please, let him try that little stunt here in VA again...please?

There is some question as to whether or not the persons carrying out the transactions were contracted Arizona residents. It seems reasonable to conclude that they were - no need for an avoidable legal problem to muddy the water of this stunt, and they've been through it before so they know what they're doing now.

That still meets the definition of a straw purchase doesn't it? I.e. they contracted a person to purchase a firearm for them because they were ineligible to do so themselves. The law makes no distinction why you want them to purchase a firearm, nor does it require that you make money while doing so. At the very least it is conspiracy to commit a straw purchase.
