There are over 200,000 VA CHP holders. As you can see from this thread, most are avoiding MD because of the restrictive gun laws. That's a lot of potential business lost that gets lots worse when one also considers DE, PA and WV permit holders probably feel the same way. If I were making a case for boarder-state reciprocity, I certainly would point this out.

And I would absolutely encourage you to make this case in testimony...written or in person. It needs to have the bill number on it (HB 9) your name and address and probably your phone number in case someone wants to ask you something about what you wrote.
