Nice spread, Punchie!!! I like all guns! I just picked up a Ruger SP-101 (shaved hammer version) yesterday for my fiance. She's new to shooting and my autos are a little big for her. Something we can both enjoy together. She has a lot to learn though about safety, shooting, and defense. We'll get there. For me, another caliber means finding more ammo, brass, and bullets. I also picked up a set of Lee carbide dies to go with the pistol. Nothing like a day at the range with someone you love.

Yep I love wheel gun's, but I also love my semi auto's. I don't have many of them left as I have given most to my kid's over the past several year's.
Nice collection of Colt's.

Zephyp, what caliber did you get? I'd like to get one of those in .327 but they are hard to find...zephyp wrote: I just picked up a Ruger SP-101 (shaved hammer version) yesterday for my fiance.

Yay!
I prefer wheel guns, myself. The only semi-auto I shoot regularly is my little Walther P22 - cheap, and really easy to manipulate for a lefty.

I got the .357 and will start her on .38. They (Gilbert's) also had a .327, but I'm leery about finding ammo for one. They did have plenty of .38+P and I also picked up a set of carbide dies. I managed to find more .38 at Cabelas. Very little .327 ammo that I've seen yet.CCFan wrote:Zephyp, what caliber did you get? Very nice, Speedy!!! I'd love to get another revolver, but a certain little woman keeps asking me "don't you have enough guns and ammo already?" I keep pointing to her Emelda Marcos collection of shoes and saying "I don't think so."
She'll come around eventually.

I've got a couple of revolvers. Mostly 22's though.
Ruger Bearcat, Single Six, Dan Wesson

Smith & Wesson Model 19

Smith & Wesson 17. The finish looks better in real life. The flash whites out a few places.

Harrington and Richardson 650

Colt Pocket Positive 32. Same thing with the flash.

No idea why the edges got cut off. Looks like everybody elses' did too.

I made a slight change recently. I traded the H&R 650 off (Just couldn't like that gun) on this one.
Colt Official Police, 38 Special. "Everyone" has talked about finding "cheap" police trade in 38's but I'll be darned if I'd ever seen one until this one. And it wasn't as cheap as people talk about, just less expensive than I'm used to seeing them.

It's got some holster wear, and a few scratches, and the grips are almost worn smooth. S/N indicates it was made in 1950. Not bad for an almost 60 year old gun I don't think. If you look closely at the grip, you can see where (I can imagine anyway) someone has rested their arm on the holstered gun a lot over the years. I know I find myself doing just that.
I've cleaned the grips up, and refinished them (I know, I "ruined" the collectors value, big deal, I doubt they're original anyway.) so they look a little better than they do in the picture. If I run into another set, I might pick them up.
Sorry for the poor picture. I couldn't find my good camera, I think it's in the back of my truck that I loaned to a friend for a couple of days.
