A place to suggest meetings and get-togethers. Want to round up a few gunlovers to go shooting at your local range? Want to meet up at your local gun show? Post here!

What kinds of loads, what range, targets, ect..... I just want to come prepared to lock and rock! If I'm invited, don't want to be a nuisance. I can make myself available with a few weeks notice. Thank you, JJS
ps. Did anyone else have a damn good Christmas visit from Santa? He got me my favorite........
There are rifle and pistol ranges. Last year we had Gunderwood bring his Barret M99 so I can't image any rifle load touching that kind of power! SgtBill has a beautiful place, check out pics of last year's Meet and Greet. Hope you can make it!

Ok, it look's like the 13/14 of May would be good. It will be a week after Mother's day and the heat of the summer won't be upon us yet.We will again post everything that is needed to get here, gear, etc. as the time get's closer.
OK, I have to stop now. I flipped my quad on the way out of the wood's in the snow last night and dislocated my right shoulder. It look's funny to see the bone sticking up.Will see the Orthpedic Dr.tomorrow up in Lynchburg.

Yes Rick, put on for the 13/14 of May and everyone will have 4 or so mos. to plan for it.And as far as the pain in the shoulder, HELL yes it hurt's. My quad is still out in the woods on it's side and will be untill spring now. After I got myself together enough to get home I made it about 10 step's and went down again on the same shoulder. The wife was working at the Hospital Emergency Room and was a little upset that I drove 25 miles with my shoulder dislocated. I suppose it is a good thing that I am on Morphine for my other problems or I would be in some real bad pain.

I just checked out the pics from 2010 shoot/meet/greet. It looks like I missed a great time. I plan on being there in May, and hopefully my future son in law can come with me. He leaves for the Army on May 23rd. Hope to see you all there.
Bill, cooler works for me! Last year was a HOT ONE LOL Let me know if you need help getting things ready, I can come up earlier the week before or whatever you need.
Get better brother!!!
Yep, last year it was too hot to shoot much less do anything else...course we should figure in global warming though. Could be around 110 F in March at the rate we are going...oh wait, never mind. I just checked and global warming is dumping snow on the lawn...
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...
Bill, good luck with your shoulder! I'll be keeping you in my prayers.

Have grill will travel Chicken again this year ? It's a little early for the young groundhogs to be out but I might be able to convince a few big ones to come for dinner, just have to parboil those. Sure beats that possum doesn't it T ?
Bill give me a holler tomorrow and I'll come get the quad out of the woods for you. Don't worry about my back, all I need is a piece of rope and your tractor to flip it back over. Forget the tractor, I'll use my truck.
