Looking for specific handguns, any suggestions? Walther PP
Looking for specific handguns, any suggestions? Walther PP
I am trying to find two Walther PPs, 32ACPs, both manufactured during the Nazi era and in and good a shape as possible. I prefer the blue casing as opposed to the grain toned grips and I am hoping to find some in good enough shape to be fireable as opposed to just collectibles. Any specific markings related to the Nazi era or specific SS use would be a huge plus! My family is German and we want these for collectibles (and yes, we fought on the American side); I am new to purchasing any older weapons and their quality for use without damaging them. The Internet offerings are overwhelming and I am uncomfortable with their minimalistic descriptions and lack of being able to answer questions about the authenticity or background. Is there anyone ought there that can help me? I'm completely new to this site and I'm hoping all you experts will have some inside knowledge...

Not my specialty either. Some models of war guns, particularly on the loosing side don't have a verifiable history or at least very little of it.
As a side note, it is a shame that all of the firearms and other historic items from the last several wars/decades will be destroyed. Sad.
