'Jeopardy!' to pit humans against IBM machine

Actually this will be a milestone event. I'm sure that the machine has been tested but most likely not yet under circumstances outside a controlled environment. What would have made this much better is if no one knew until after the event...

One thing to make a machine that plays chess or answers simple questions but another to ask questions based on answers in a Jeopardy show type environment.

I think this is a great idea and look forward to seeing how well the computer does.
