I'm disappoint that "we" haven't been more radical.

However I sense that many of our compatriots here still believe that the republic can be salvaged.

I do not share that sentiment. Certainly not in our lifetimes.

The republic can be saved if we rise from our laurels and stand on our hind legs...the problem is it requires sacrifice that most are not willing to make...most think they have done their duty merely by voting...we need to grab every willing citizen and camp out in DC by the millions until "they" straighten stuff out.

Btw, peaceable assembly is our Constitutional right...
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

That was a different time, under a different regime.

We have the power - we, the People, choose not to execute it. We're too busy watching "reality" TV and content that the government is going to take care of us. Peaceable assembly can work in the USA if we choose to make it work. Espousing violent overthrow will not work.
