looking for outfitters or hunting guide

Hello everyone,

I'm new to the website and a hunting community. Actually, I never hunt before and I'm interesting in Whitetail hunting. Do you know any outfitters or a hunting guide around Northern Virginia area? I'm living in Prince William County close to Manassas. I know there are WMA near here like Thompson and Phelps but I don't think there's a hunting guides there. Thx.

The only whitetail guides I have heard of are in Buckingham or Fluvanna, I can't remember which county. Check with the outdoor writer for the Richmond Times Dispatch, he hunted with them not long ago. You can reach him at

Take a hunter safety course ( they are free), get a license and I may be able to help you out. But I'm a little over 3 hours from you.

We have one here in Page County called Longs Outfitters service I don't know much about them. They do have a website you can checkout.
