I would have done the same thing. I've seen too many stories on the news of someone getting shot once and living. I don't know how people can criticize the man for what he did, his life was in danger and he defended himself to the fullest of his abilities. There should be no "the robber didn't deserve the additional shots" crap.

"Living" and continuing to attack are two different things. Granted the guy coulda been faking and could have gone for another weapon, but since no other weapon was found on the body .. what are we supposed to think.

Fleeing and escaping are also forms of self defense those were abilities he had that he DIDN'T excercise. Let's put it this way same thing happens to you and your child is with you. Once you put the assailant down do you keep your child in that area or do you get the hell outta Dodge ?

We're not debating what the punk ass thug "deserved". I'm glad that MFer is dead. The rule of law was broken in this case. Ersland claims he was trying to defend his female co-workers ... how does he do that when he's trying to chase down and shoot a guy OUTSIDE with a messed up back and turning his back on badguy #1 who he hasn't given a coup de grace YET ... he "remembers" to finish off badguy#1 and does it with a different gun ?

If it was me I would've emptied all 7 X .40 JHPs into that guy from GO and the law couldn't touch me, because I could claim I shot all 7 rounds (as trained) and that I was reacting IN THAT MOMENT in fear of my life.
