Runion's guns in Harrisonburg
Runion's guns in Harrisonburg
Runion's Hunting and fishing, in Harrisonburg, doesn't seem to want our business. They have a sign posted on the door stating "no loaded guns, INCLUDING concealed carry" I talked to them, and told them that I thought it was a bad idea, but they really did not seem to care! So, since they refuse to support my gun rights, (even though they make their living selling guns!) I will certainly take my business elsewhere, and advise others to do the same.
Re: Runion's guns in Harrisonburg
Sounds like a real supporter of the second admendment
I'll be sure to remember that if I'm up that way, I like to stop and check out gunshops when I'm traveling.

Re: Runion's guns in Harrisonburg
Wow, that's crazy. Seems that someone who relies upon gun owners to make a living would be more respectful of their customers' rights!
Re: Runion's guns in Harrisonburg
They have had an "attitude" for years, which is why I have bought very little from them. They act like they are doing you a favor selling you a gun. But this lastest thing with the sign was the final straw for me. They will never see a dime from me again.allingeneral wrote:Wow, that's crazy. You can say that again...can't seem to keep any help either!! Wonder if the sign refers to LEO's?Gunguy wrote:They have had an "attitude" for years, which is why I have bought very little from them. I don't think it includes LEO's. They usually cater to law enforcement. (as any gun shop should)
Re: Runion's guns in Harrisonburg
I worked for Runion's when I was in college. The reason they cant keep any help is because they treat their employees like crap. They do think they are doing you a favor selling you a gun, and you probably are paying too much. They can get things others cant get, they have great suppliers, and Wayne does know his stuff, but they just treat people like crap.
As soon as they have a slow week, prices are going up and His wife will have everyone in the store on notice. They used to threaten to fire us once a month..Once I got threatened because my cash box came up short, only to find out that Wayne had been making change out of my box. His was over the exact amount mine was short, but they still accused me of stealing from them.
Not nice people at all.
