Sig P522 SWAT with Green Laser

Post by Goldie »

As chronicled here, I overpurchased and nearly made this thing illegal. Anyway, now that the vertical grip is out of my life, I can get to enjoying the weapon.

Picked this up at the Chantilly Gun Show Saturday from Bailey's booth.

Sig Sauer P522 SWAT (rails with soft grip covers), two 25-rd mags, and a Sig Sauer G-LAD (green laser aiming device). The laser is extra sweet because it's got a momentary pressure switch you can squeeze with against the handle (can be mounted with velcro or simply held in place).

Can't wait to get this little guy out to Silver Eagle Group and try it out!

I just got back from that show. It was nice.
Never saw any green lasers though, and I was looking. I did see a bunch of teeny-tiny high powered flashlights.

This one was actually already installed on the weapon by Bailey's, I bought them together. I did see one for sale at the Afton Arms booth, though (but I'm kind of salty that guy sold me the grip with no mention of the NFA circus, but he was otherwise helpful so I'll call it a net zero).

Great pistol you have there. I'd be interested to know which IWB holster you select for it. :)

Just remember you can't OC it with a 20+ round mag unless you have a CHP. I'd recommend a 20 rounder as your first mag and keep the 30s in a mag holster for reloads.

I do have a (FL) CWP, but I would never open carry, and I'd rarely if ever carry at all, given how much time I spend in the district.

And LFS, I'd just buy all of Subway Jared's old pants and tuck it in the waistband ;)

From my watching the ceiling, there seemed to be lots of green lasers up in there...
