Beretta Obsession

Post by Drumstix61 »

I'm not sure at what point this turned from a Hobby, into Enthusiast,to Collector,to full on Obsession.

I Started out with a Centurion,then a Vertec INOX,then a 92FS that I fully modded to my Race Gun,
then a 90-Two,and now, just got my M9-A1.
Still not done,as I want a Billenium,($$$$) ,a 92-GSD,an Elite II G,an Air Force commemorative M9,and the new 92-A1.
Wouldn't mind a Cougar or PX-4 either.

So easy to field strip/clean, and Modify.
Swap out the Upper,and you get a .40 S+W.
With some work and $, easy enough to convert to .357 Sig.
Have even done my own Grip Checkering.

Doing "Trigger Jobs" is fun time.
Hammer/Sear/Trigger Bar points of polish are ingrained to memory.
2 Conical Bushing Mods and 2 Italian Shooting Team Compensator Mods = a lot of $$$ = worth it...., Every Penny.

I have actually forgone buying necessities in order to get a new set of Grips. ?
Then have Beretta Medallions installed,... ?

Had this...

and made it this with a Trigger Job;

Soooo pretty, :lovegunporn:

I'm confused though, how can someone own so many berettas and have no silencer? Life is too short to need both your kidneys.

Very nice collection!

I'm working on mine, got my first Beretta last week, a 92FS in pristine condition. A really nice shooter.

You simply cannot go wrong with a 92FS. I wore one at my wedding reception and keep it at my bedside table...for close encounters...

Thanks men,

I see some of us know a good thing when we shoot it.
Beretta does have some detractors, but most all love 'em.

I know brand loyalty is a subjective thing...I also like Yamaha and Chevy.

Glad you are a Beretta owner now GregJ !

DK,you continually succeed at impressing me in the Beretta arena.I relish the fact you had a Beretta on your side at your wedding reception! Priceless.

As I've said before, forum member WAL is my go to guy for this stuff.
From inserting Beretta Medallions into any grips you have, and Bead Blasting,to a full on "Conical Bushing Mod",he can do it.
He has recently gotten into refinishing also.
And at more than a fair price and fast turn around.
As well as being a genuinely nice guy and a pleasure to deal with,to boot.

Should any of you desire a Beretta Mod,or have questions, feel free to contact me,and I'll relay it.

Cheers mates,Geo. :construction:

Remember, it's not an obsession when it's healthy and constructive. At least I tell myself that.
