Yeah, I have owned a few in the past... They are really fun to shoot, especially at night!
It can be a Zen-like experience to disassemble, decosmo, clean, lube then reassemble an 50+ year old bolt action Russian war rifle! During the entire process, you ponder the multifaceted historic values associated with your weapon which in turn causes your respect and admiration for firearms and their mechanical beauty to rise to even higher levels!
I have seriously considered getting my C&R license multiple times but just haven't actually followed through with doing it yet. I have a Yugo M24/47 Mauser that I absolutely adore because of the design itself and the action of the bolt, not to mention the heavy walnut stock which is still smooth despite it's scars it has acquired in it's life overseas.
What can I say, I love guns...
